Maps of properties damaged or destroyed, properties with natural gas service, and areas under boil water advisory
On July 27, 2024, Parks Canada officials stated they estimate about one-third of the town of Jasper's structures had burned. The following day, July 28, the Municipality of Jasper released a map and list of addresses showing where buildings are damaged in the community. If your house is marked red, it has, unfortunately, been destroyed.
Do not assume or expect that your home is ready to occupy. The damage to our town has been sporadic and not contained to one area. Additionally, you may not have utilities (gas, power, water). Be ready to be as self-sufficient as possible while crews work.
You may have the opportunity to go through your property with the trained, professional volunteers from Team Rubicon. Team Rubicon Canada is a volunteer service of trained professionals who can help you go through your property and collect things you want to keep. They are located at the Re-entry Support Centre at Commemoration Park.
Jasper residents can consult ATCO’s Energization Map to see the status of power and natural gas to your home or business. The map will be updated frequently.
A boil water advisory is currently in effect for certain parts of the Jasper townsite. Areas within the Town of Jasper in which the boil water advisory has been lifted and where the advisory remains in effect are referenced in this map.
