Jasper evacuees receive free admission to Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village

Displaced Albertans who had to leave their homes due to wildfires and out-of-province forest fire fighters supporting the response receive free admission at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village. We ask that evacuee visitors provide their postal code or government ID upon arrival to verify their evacuation status. Free activities in Hinton

Enjoy free entry to the pool, bouldering wall and courts, as well as general transit services in Hinton for the month of August. To show support for our neighbours from Jasper, the Town of Hinton is waiving all entry fees for drop-in use at the Dr. Duncan Murray Recreation Centre, as well as bus fares on Hinton Transit Services until August 31, 2024. The Full Circle Youth Group, operated by the Hinton Friendship Centre Society, is an Indigenous organization dedicated to providing support and programming for youth aged 8 and over. Heritage Park offering free admission to Jasper wildfire evacuees

Jasper and area, we are offering free admission to Heritage Park's Historical Village and Gasoline Alley Museum for all who have been evacuated. All that is required is for guests to bring along some form of ID that indicates they are from Jasper and surrounding area. The no-cost of admission will continue until further notice.
